The Jordanian Center for Research and Studies – Aryam was established in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in 2019 and is the only specialized centre for studies and research according to the data of the Jordan Media Commission. It is an independent, non-profit research institution concerned with deepening the foundations of scientific research and disseminating knowledge through media and communication technology, contributing to raising the level of knowledge and enriching the cultural and media scene and enriching strategic thinking in the Arab world.

As the centre is based in an Arab environment, it looks forward to broad global horizons, anticipating the features of the future, aspiring to contribute to deepening awareness of the reality of existing civilizational challenges, and understanding the map of global transformations with major strategic dimensions and their repercussions on the conditions of the Arab region in general and the Arab field in particular.

The vision of the Jordanian Center for Research and Studies lies in promoting systematic scientific research and rationality and employing them to understand the issues of society and the state. It also adopts a renaissance vision for Arab societies committed to the issues of the Arab nation through theoretical and applied scientific research, and the renaissance of the Arabic language through its use in the fields of social and human sciences. The centre is based on the fact that development is the advancement of a particular society, and it is human development for all segments of society, in its historical circumstances, in the context of its culture, in its language, and through its interaction with other cultures.

In light of this vision, the centre is concerned with trying to achieve its basic scientific goals, through its various academic activities and diagnosing the economic, political, humanitarian, social and cultural conditions in the Arab world, countries and societies, and analysing them, and studying social, economic and cultural policies, through rational analysis of politics and public policies. It deals with the challenges facing the nation at the level of citizenship and identity, democracy and tyranny, fragmentation and unity, sovereignty and dependency, social justice, scientific and technological stagnation, the development of Arab societies and countries and cooperation between them, and the issues of the Arab world in general.

The Center’s perspectives are not limited to its concern with Arab issues from a scientific research perspective, but it is also concerned with studying the relations of the Arab world and societies with its immediate surroundings in Asia and Africa, with the American, European and Asian policies that influence it, in all their social, political, economic and media aspects.

The Center is managed by Dr. Wafaa Mahna Mustafa Al-Jaradin, a researcher in the field of humanities and social sciences / experience in the field of writing research, studies and peer-reviewed publishing. She has many peer-reviewed research papers published in international journals and is a member of many scientific committees and organizing committees for peer-reviewed international conferences and scientific committees for arbitrating research papers. The Center includes (400) research members from all Arab, Asian and African countries.

The Center also employs (135) international researchers and accredited international arbitrators from Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Libya, Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Yemen, Oman, Kuwait and Egypt. The Center also employs a specialized and qualified team to prepare peer-reviewed studies and research and prepare peer-reviewed international seminars and conferences, specializing in holding training and providing consultations.
